I’m so behind in posting so much has happened over the last few months. The last time I tried to make updates behind the scenes the hosting site wouldn’t update so I walked away from it and then got busy. Please forgive me.
Back in July I celebrated my birthday yay me. I made it another year. Just as I was celebrating my birthday changes happened at work. We did the executive assistants shuffle at work. I moved over to support another executive within the company as well as 3 more executives. The transition started in August and that has turned out great. Now I’m supporting 8 people in the suite can you say busy and exhausted, but I’m not complaining. I love my new job.
October 12th 9 months to the day of losing Ginger. Meko was put to sleep. He ruptured a disk in his back and lost the use of his back legs. Everyone's been asking. No I'm not getting another dog.
If you know you know. Yes, I have the inside of the house decorated for Christmas.
I’ve uploaded 3 new meditations. I’ve blacked out the screen so you can focus on my voice as I lead you through the meditations.
Have a safe wonderful Thanksgiving

Happy Valentines Day
1/13/24
Meko and I are learning to adjust without Ginger. It feels odd not to have her in our daily routine. I know Meko is grieving as much as I am. He is not playing with his toys. He walks around smelling the floor for her. There are times when he looks up and runs off like he sees or hears her then sits back down when he can’t find her.
Today I had to run a few errands. Meko gave me a look that said momma please don’t leave me alone. He went to the garage door and sat down. Well, I had to load up the dog car seat and off we went. Meko did better today than he has in the past traveling in the car.
Before Ginger died. Meko would barely let me hold him. Now he lets me hold and hug him. We sit and cuddle on the sofa like we did with Ginger. I will keep an eye on him and just keep loving him. It is just us now we miss Ginger. I cry with no notice. I didn’t have her for very long, but I have 3 beautiful years of memories. She brightened my life in so many ways and changed my life and gave me unconditional love.

Today, my heart is breaking. My girl Ginger died this morning. We still have no idea what happened. She was fine yesterday when I left for work. When I got home, she was what I call crying but seemed ok. She was slower to eat her food which was not normal. By this morning she seemed to be having a hard time breathing like something was caught in her throat she was coughing.
By the time I was dressed she was coughing up blood and passed away. I’m now lost without my sweet girl. She was my protector she checked everyone who came through my door and especially men. She was my diva; she loved her spot on the back of the couch to look out the window or curled up on my lap and for me to scratch her.
She never liked sharing her toys with Meko. She would take them and hide them if he found them to play, she would take them back and hide them again. I’m going to miss my sweet girl beyond belief. I’ve spent most of the day crying my eyes out and typing this my eyes are filled with tears.
Ginger wasn’t just a dog. She was my fur baby, my kid. She understood me and I understood her. We had our own language and unconventional love above all else. Ginger Momma will always love you.

Happy New Year
2023 Has come and gone. I can’t believe how quickly December went. My family came to Kansas. That to me was the best gift of all.
Hopefully my video of the living / dining room will work (of course not - photos on gallery page). One of the kids counted all the trees I had including the ones on top of the kitchen cabinets 23 in total. 3 are fully decorated.
I’m in no rush to take everything down, right now I’m resting fighting an upper respiratory. The decoration and reset to winter decorations can wait just a little longer.

Since buying a house last December. I have stepped into a new world. Home ownership is no joke. I have learned so much in the last 9 months. Things I've either never knew, never wanted to know or never learned or always planned to hire someone else to do.
I'm slowly learning to do things around the house I never had to do myself. You know what? I'm proud I'm learning something new. The lesson here is that it may not be perfect but I did it all by myself.
For that I can smile and say I did it. You may ask what? Or geez that's not hard or a big deal. Well for a person who is not a "fix it" lady it is a big deal. The only "fix it" I do is cooking, and interior decorating.
- Repairing nail holes & painting
- Replacing air filters
- Oiling door hinges
- Oiling garage door hinges & springs (there's a special lube for that)
- Front yard landscaping (work in progress) Kansas wind
- Dog Pen for the ever escaping Meko (next project) plus fatten his skinny but up
- Having the sprinkler system winterized
Learning what tools to have or the right tools to get (lost look most days). My ex-husband had all the tools. He left me 1 ladder and that has to be replaced soon. It is not tall enough to do the things needed around the house. Thanks to JP (the best executive I have ever worked with) for a tool bag gift after my divorce. It has come in handy.
I have to say thanks to my next door neighbors Shannon & Jason who are a blessing and true sweethearts. I love them. We have helped each other out and it is just nice having wonderful neighbors you can enjoy.
Of course this is on top of the everyday challenges of a normal day and life of work, cooking, and house work. Trying not to kill myself tripping over a dog who is under my feet (Miss Ginger) who likes to stay right next to me when I get home.
I'm prepping the house now to host Christmas with the family so the remaining containers that are not unpacked are being addressed. Not to mention an attic I can't even access no pull down steps and my ladder will not work (Can you say fork lift. Sigh).
The house is being cleaned top to bottom and decorating is about to begin. All Christmas decorations should be complete before Thanksgiving so keep watching. I will either post photos or a short movie we will see. I'm trying to become more advanced with technology (LOL). Not to mention what I can do with this website and uploading videos. So stay tuned.
Have a wonderful Saturday.

Anyone that knows me, knows I'm a huge NFL fan. Ever since I was 16 years old (thanks daddy). I have never been into college football I don't know why until now.
Somehow I've gotten wrapped up into watching and believing Colorado Buffaloes. I'm still shocked and amazed I'm watching college football on Saturday. Shaking my head at that one still.
Sorry Chiefs on got to go.

Today is a very special day for a beautiful person in my life. On May 11th, my daughter was born. Oh my beautiful little baby. No one told me not to blink. I did and before I knew it you were 8. I blinked again and you were graduating high school. I blinked again you graduated college and cosmetology school.
Let me tell you about my baby. She's a beautiful soul inside and out. She has a big heart of gold. She is an amazing friend and woman. She maybe short but she is a mighty little powerhouse protector of her friends and family.
It is an honor to be her mother. She's not a baby any more, but you will always be my baby. I can't wait to see what amazing things you will continue to do.
Happy Birthday Chastity. Love You Always Mom.

I heard this story today and I had to share it with you.
Twinkies and Root Beer (I'm sorry I don't know the original author)
There once was a little boy who wanted to meet God. He knew it was a long trip to where God lived, so he packed his suitcase with Twinkies and a six-pack of root beer, and he started on his journey. When he had gone about three blocks, he met an old man. He was sitting in the park, staring at some pigeons. The boy sat down next to him and opened his suitcase.
He was about to take a drink from his root beer when he noticed that the old man looked hungry, so he offered him a Twinkie. He gratefully accepted it and smiled at him.
His smile was so pretty that the boy wanted to see it again, so he offered him a root beer. Once again, him smiled at him The boy was delighted. They sat there all afternoon eating and smiling, yet they never said a word.
As it grew dark, the boy realized how tired he was and he got up to leave. Before he had gone more than a few steps, he turned around, ran back to the old man and gave him a hug. He gave him his biggest smile ever.
When the boy opened the door to his own home a short time later, his mother was surprised by the look of joy on his face. She asked him, "What did you do today that made you so happy?" He replied, "I had lunch with God." But before his mother could respond, he added, "You know what? He's got the most beautiful smile I've ever seen!"
Meanwhile, the old man, also radiant with joy, returned to his home. His neighbor was stunned by the look of peace on his face, and asked, "What did you do today that made you so happy?" He replied, "I ate Twinkies in the park with God." But before his neighbor responded, he added, "You know, he's much younger than I expected."
I hope that warmed your heart and soul and gave you a smile and joy as it did me.
